Get a free quote and a customised offer for your group journey
With us, you’ll always plan at the right time, neither too early nor too late.
Especially for group trips, booking early is crucial. However, not all train companies open ticket sales at the same time, which can make it difficult to keep track.
This is exactly where we come in: you can request your trip with us at any time. Just tell us when and where you want to travel, and we’ll get back to you as soon as booking is possible or prices are available. Only then do you need to specify the exact number of people. This way, you no longer have to worry about advance booking deadlines and can tick another item off your to-do list.
Information on school trips abroad
It’s very simple: send us a non-binding inquiry with the details of your trip using our booking platform. You will receive a suitable offer with a quote within one working day. After purchase, we will provide you with all tickets online.
We book a group trip for six or more people. Whether for a graduation trip, family celebrations or sporting events: so far, we have organised group trips for 6–30 people throughout Europe.
We will reserve seats for you (where possible) and make sure that you can all sit together.
When booking through SimpleTrain, we charge a small handling fee to compensate us for the service. Find out about our current prices here.
Travelling as a group on the night train is also possible. As places are limited, we recommend booking early. The booking period is usually six months. You can find more information about travelling by night train here.

Get your free, sticker-based railway map poster for the classroom
Teachers and lecturers receive a free poster featuring the most important railway connections across Europe. It’s ideal as an introduction to sustainability and mobility, and invites students to explore the European rail network together, or simply serves as a classroom decoration.
With the stickers, it quickly becomes interactive: plan potential destinations together, discuss routes, or vote on the next class trip.
Order your free poster via the contact form using your school email address, we’ll be happy to send it to you.
For everyone who is not a teacher, the poster including stickers is also available in our webshop.
