How does check-in work?
The BDR is a ticket that needs to be validated. This is where the new check-in function comes in. You can make changes via the ‘Check-in’ section in your booking confirmation email from Trenitalia.
Check-in opens at midnight on the day of travel.
Every passenger has the option to change the date and time of their journey until 11.59 pm on the day before travel.
On the day of travel, you can change your departure time as often as you like until you have checked in.
Please note: Once you have checked in, you can no longer change your ticket.
